"COOL & HOT" BRAND THEME
The goal of this project was to design the brand identity, packaging design, establish a path for direct future brand engagements with consumers and to also ensure that brand interactivity was memorable, yet also creative. It is about hydration and having fun, and interacting with the brand in a COOL way during HOT weather — by drinking an energy drink or chewing GEL DROPS with vitamins and electrolytes. It is about being COOL in a HOT city.
PRODUCT DESIGN
To communicate the theme of COOL and HOT, thermochromic inks and lenticular printing technology were established for the marketing materials and promotion campaigns as well as for the packaging. Lenticular lenses produce printed images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles, which can produce successful brand engagement.
Brand Activations
Setting up ION PLUS interactive stations, to encourage user engagement with the thermochromic touchpads. These sheets of liquid crystal visually display body heat. The touchpads with digital temperature sensors, also could detect body heat and ambient conditions.
Pairing up various technologies, such as a wearable e-textile (branded colour changing t-shirts) in combination with touch screens creates a more immersive experience. Events such as concerts could include holographic images of the brand.
